I'M BRIANNA

I’m a former policy analyst turned sales leader who teaches confidence as a skill, not a personality trait.

As a first-generation college graduate with honors in psychology and communication, I began my career in government, working in Congress and the Florida Legislature and helping develop policy language that became Florida law.

At 25, I left a $43K state-government salary to start over in sales. Within my first year, I became one of the top-performing representatives in my company and went on to build a six-figure career.

But the most important lesson wasn’t about policy or sales. It was learning that confidence does not arrive before the decision. It is built through the evidence you create after you act.

That shift changed how I negotiated, how I entered rooms where I was the least experienced person and how I advocated for myself without waiting for a script.

I kept meeting brilliant women who were qualified to lead, speak, negotiate and take up space, but still hesitated when the moment mattered. They overprepared, waited for reassurance and made themselves smaller in rooms they had already earned the right to enter.

I created Her Standard to help change that.

My work combines psychology, negotiation-tested frameworks and lived experience to help women trust their judgment, communicate with authority and take decisive action without waiting to feel perfectly ready.
